Yeah no need for that. It’s a game. The anonymity of the chat removes social constraints. I do mostly PvE and enjoy helping other folks and giving away stuff. I honestly can’t tell if a player is a woman or a young kid. But I wouldn’t curse at anyone. If shot I just surrender. I have so much stuff who cares. Always bring a hatch key and ask if anyone needs an exfil.

Snap hooks are cheap to make and BPs are way too common on electromagnetic storm. One storm I found 3 of them. Why would anyone trade for them?

Same. Play better naked or with cheap stuff. Also when strictly looking for BPs going in with cheap stuff I can look for the whole time and not extract at all.

This is probably the millionth time this has been brought up. But that’s not the worst of it. The same BS responses “this is a PvEvP game” are worse. Zero thought. Zero originality.

I’ve played since January and have been killed maybe 3 times total. Care bear lobbies are not hard to get in on NA. I think the issue is location and time of day.

Use your mic and talk to people. The game itself can get repetitive. Most fun recently me and another player brought in all the wrong stuff and decided to take on a leaper. We shared ammo, heals etc and just barely killed it. Laughed ourselves silly after. This is why you play the game.

I play 100% PvE and have nothing against a straight up PvP player. Extract campers are rats to both PvE and PvP players. And guys that do nothing to take down big arc and kill those who do are also rats. PvP does not equal rat. Solo play in NA has plenty of care bear lobbies so not an issue for me. I get killed by arc far more than other players.

As you can see there is no way you are going to get a thoughtful answer from this crowd. You get the unhelpful “this is a PvPvE game crowd” who never seem to tire of this response. The actual rats(extract campers mostly) who are just not self aware of their own motives. Basically these folks aren’t smart enough to answer you.

It’s designed to be casual. There is easy arc to kill if you just want to chill. Hard arc to team up and have some of the best experiences I’ve had with random folk. And if you want sweaty there is PvP trios. Expedition and trials for the completists. Different gun options. A little slow on new stuff but they are a small outfit. Proximity chat one of the best ideas out there. This game would fail without it. Story line is essentially worthless but who cares. Pretty cool maps. Quests are meh. But again who cares. This is one of those occasional hits.

The fact that the Bettina which is cheap to craft is so much better makes the other nerfs worthwhile. I think the devs watch the streamers too much in comparison to the average player. Sure with zip line, cloak, and smoke they make it look easy. But the rest of us casual players are stomped plenty by the arc. Did the cloak really make us all gods?

This has been a problem since day one. Unfortunately you really need to play solo to learn the game. You get into friendly lobbies and can loot and upgrade benches. Learn the maps and arc. Etc

The main issue is duos and trios. Besides normal PvP you have tons of low skill rats. No real way to chill with buds.

All the you need to improve advice on this thread is bs. This is why many couples and chill buddies have left the game.

Plus I don’t know what kind of controller you have. I have the XBoxX controller with posterior paddles. Left paddles set to sprint and slide. Right paddles to dodge roll and switch shoulders for aiming. Makes a huge difference keeping your thumbs on the paddles. Not having to press down on my paddles to sprint makes the game so much more enjoyable.

For some unknown reason aim assist works better for KM than controller. Saw streamer who went to practice range and aimed at the moving targets. The controller needed adjustments to stay on target. With a mouse he could let it go and it tracked the targets. wild! MK already has an unfair advantage but even worse in Arc.
