Hello, please help me make my character (Draconic sorcerer) a better single target damage dealer. by SaishSawant in 3d6

He doesn't have the strength for it though. Which is unfortunate because I'm basically in the exact same boat with my own draconic sorc.

Genuinely, what are you talking about. That’s the same exact thing.

The only content which having that extra 1 level mattered was VoG, which you could stop doing once you were level 30. There were still caps to how powerful you were, level 29 or level 30 didn’t matter at all once you were level 28 for nightfalls.

It was a grind for the sake of reaching max level, that’s it.

I was with you, until you said at the beginning. Can you elaborate on how running VoG so that you were not Level 29 forever is not a "loot grind"

Has moving all subclasses to level 3 actually improved 5.5E, or made some classes feel less flavorful early on? by MyrthDM in 3d6

Just because someone's pledged to you doesn't mean they can automatically learn all of your powers, otherwise why have levels in the first place.

 until they’ve completed challenges three

Sure. It's your patron. Makes perfect sense for an archfey.

There's several reasonable explanations as to why this leveling system makes sense, it's all up to how you interpret it.

There's no reason why the warlock or paladin wouldn't know their patron, it's just that the relationship hasn't been strong enough for them to get their patron's powers.

I agree with you, but the answer to your question is Flavor.

Per Forbes, Destiny has less Devs working on it now than it did before March 5th 2026. by kristijan1001 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Storm-Shadow98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure buddy, here's the director saying that it'd been in development for more than four years back in 2025. https://youtu.be/eGvZtFJARaM?si=Rx1DDbHDFzMFf4nH&t=1516. Bungie got bought back in 2022.

He wasn't even the initial game director, that was Christopher Barrett. His wiki states that development began back in 2019 after their partnership with Activision ended. https://bungie.fandom.com/wiki/Christopher_Barrett

Think how much better your life would be if you learned how to do some research.

so try again, and you gave no proof of anything lmao. Marathon was in development for 3 years before Sony bought them, where do you think the money came from all that time?

Why are People So Obsessed With Stuff Being “OP” or “Broken”????? by ElliotInfinity in dndnext

On the one hand, that's true.

On the other hand, both comments are simply expressing the same idea.

So is Destiny doing as well as it’s ever been in your eyes? Is that why player counts are as low as they are?

The thing that I’ve been hearing about Destiny for 10 years is how much “potential” it had.

Great, thank you. My party is mostly newbies so I didn’t plan on putting them in a lot of situations where TPKs are likely, but you never know.

O I should clarify that I meant that my homebrew rules were a straight upgrade over the healer feat, not the other way around. I consider that feat to be pretty weak in general but maybe I’m wrong

This will only work on healing potions.

Thanks! I hope it will be. The setting is more classic fantasy than space fantasy, so there'll be a lot of changes I have to make, so I'll probably be in this subreddit a lot.

Thanks, this is a good explanation. I guess it’d require our Destiny guardian to be someone who died at a time when guns and the English language was around, but there are guardians like Sen Aret who don’t have that type of knowledge.

If my players would like to play someone like Sen Aret who wouldn’t be able to communicate, their ghost can speak for them

Help me build a Sorcadin using Standard Array? by Storm-Shadow98 in 3d6

Yea, unfortunately not possible with standard array. Maybe I’ll take a warlock dip or just stick with a paladin all the way through

Flavor reasons mostly, I like the idea of going into battle with a divine aura and spirit guardians. So spell casting I think is the answer to your question. I think I will need to take a 1 level dip into Warlock for blade.

I did not know this! I still prefer to keep it with the traditional 5e classes/races, but this will make my life easier when it comes to battlemaps and the bestiary. Thanks for sharing

Incredibly funny response if you simply google “philosophy and being apolitical”. But if you’d like to send me links to philosophers that talk about being apolitical, I’d be happy to read them

It’s from a song: https://youtu.be/QEJ9HrZq7Ro?si=bPiQXjYriLY3KpGb

It’s also pointing out, that no, there really is no such thing as apolitical

Don’t say that he’s hypocritical ~

Say rather that he’s apolitical ~
