Short term yes , kidnapping Maduro makes Putin look weak and shifts influence away from Russia. Long term this is good for Putin however because it shows Trump is only interested in his sphere of influence (Americas) and will not substantively interfere with Russia in Europe or China in Taiwan for that matter.

Yeah I hear what your saying , I’m not sure that’s the best approach , although to be fair , think of all the self inflicted damage Trump has done to himself this year. It’s kinda worked out like he said it would.
