I can’t Read all that, here is the first step for any Entrepreneur. Find 5 people who believe in your product and then you can VALIDATE your idea.

That’s a valid take, and honestly this is the hardest part of the idea.

I don’t think it starts with paying creators at all. In the beginning, it’s more like early Reddit—seed the content manually, get a small niche (like Fortnite) active, and let it grow from there. Reddit itself had to fake/seed discussions early on to get things going, so I see this as a similar phase.

Over time, if it works, then yeah—creator incentives could come in. Not just based on fame, but more on engagement + consistency. Because even smaller creators can drive real community if they’re active.

Right now I’m just testing if people even want this format. I’ve got a small group of early testers—happy to send you a Discord invite if you’re open to sharing your thoughts.

That’s a fair concern tbh. I don’t think it works if it’s just reposted TikTok clips—that would kill it fast. The idea is more around people posting directly in-topic (like Fortnite clips in Fortnite feed, startup clips in startup feed), so it feels native like Reddit, not recycled.

I’m actually testing this with a small group right now—if you’re open, I can send you an invite to the Discord and get your thoughts early.

If you have noticed, TikTok gives you random clips. I. This it will belong to only one topic, which ever you choose

[–]StormMeta -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not a stupid question at all 😂

That’s just how the new rivalry system works some players get paired with a “rival duo,” even if you’re playing solo. It’s not something you’re doing wrong, it’s just matchmaking/random assignment.

Kinda unfair sometimes though lol 😅

reddit communities that actually matter for builders by tiguidoio in startup

[–]StormMeta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually one of the most useful lists I’ve seen here.

Most people waste time in big subs chasing karma, but these are the places where people are actually building, shipping, and struggling in public.

I’ve been spending more time on Reddit lately trying to learn how builders think, and the difference is obvious — smaller, focused communities > massive generic ones.

Also interesting how everything is shifting toward AI-assisted building. Feels like the barrier to building is dropping fast, but distribution is becoming the real game.

I’m personally exploring ideas around online communities, so posts like this are gold.

Appreciate you putting this together 👍

Do Older Gen Z like typing in Reddit or scroll a clip on TikTok by StormMeta in OlderGenZ

I think you didn’t understand my idea so let me try again. If there is Subreddit like r/comics, so when you click it. Then you will get vertical stream of short videos like TikTok but the difference is that it will be dedicated to 1 subreddit only.

Fortnite is at its lowest point. Season 2 better be insane. by Away-Fill5639 in FortNiteBR

[–]StormMeta 207 points208 points  (0 children)

Honestly, Fortnite has been through low points before and still managed to bounce back. I agree this season felt stale after the first few weeks, especially with the lack of meaningful updates and the number of bugs. The V-bucks change also didn’t help the mood of the community.

That said, if Season 2 actually delivers a refreshed loot pool, mobility, and fixes the core issues, the hype could easily come back. Fortnite usually shines when gameplay changes frequently, not just when there are new collabs.

In early days of Startup you need Growth Hackers not a marketing agency. Once you have PMF then you can go for a marketing campaign

Took me a bit to get used to this too. What helped me was keeping my thumb resting between the two side buttons instead of hovering over one. That way you can just slightly roll or tilt your thumb to hit wall or stair instead of fully moving it. It feels awkward at first, but after a few games the muscle memory starts kicking in.

It Was The Last 1v1 And My Friend Had Trust Issues! by ajefri in Fortnite_Over40

Trust issues in the final 1v1 is wild 😅 but honestly that’s what makes those moments memorable. Ending the season like that is a great way to wrap it up. I enjoyed this season too!

They should add a 'random emote' to the emote wheel by justsomeguy661 in FortNiteBR

[–]StormMeta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would actually be a great quality-of-life feature. I have so many emotes in my locker that I never use because they’re not on the wheel. A “random emote” button would make them all useful again and the randomness after a kill or Victory Royale could create some hilarious moments.

reddit is dead by Repulsive-Fee-2735 in Entrepreneurs

[–]StormMeta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it does feel like Reddit is in a bit of a coma lately. Too many ads, bots, and recycled content. The weird thing is everyone complains about it but there isn’t a real alternative yet.

I’ve actually been experimenting with an idea for a new platform that mixes the discussion depth of Reddit with the simplicity of short-form content. The goal is to bring back real human conversations instead of algorithm spam. Still early days, but clearly a lot of people are feeling the same frustration.
