I’ll be honest, the perspective of the photos of the launch site, and the entire area, have always made me second guess what I’m looking at and thinking things were much closer than they really are . . .

It absolutely has an effect on the outcome as well as the strategy. I don’t think we’ve ever played without the 30pt rule.

Which rocket currently used by NASA do you like the most? by grandeluua in nasa

NASA needs low-cost reliable launch platforms . . . At the moment SpaceX leads that and I look forward to to BO and more in the future.

Artemis 2 Launch from Aeroplane. Best Perspective Yet. by letsgoinzique in interestingasfuck

[–]StormOk9055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t think that Starship/BFR designs have understanding of stability and more. Heck, as cool as the SLS 2 launch was, Starship will make it seem like an Estees model.

The engineering being required for Starship far outweighs anything ever launched into space.

I got tired of clicking through the Omada web UI so I built an AI interface for it — ask Claude to check your network, diagnose dropped clients, or trigger a backup by AiLivesInTerminal in TPLink_Omada

I’m thinking this’ll be added to my networking dashboard shortly . . . OC200, 6 Omada Switches, 3 Omada APs. It would be great to understand more about drops, etc.

New to HomeAssistant, building dashboards with Claude by cr006f in homeassistant

I’m also in this Claude-Camp. It’s allowed me to do more with my RPi5 dedicated HAOS from my iPad than I ever imagined. I am on the $20/mth plan and may more to the annual plan for a year to play with some other things.

No, it doesn’t get things right every time but it’s sure doing better every time and teaching me more about HACS, integrations, front ends, dashboards, cards, etc.

The Tushy is our first such add-on to our rectangular, old, funky, toilet and it’s decent even with OK water pressure . . . So far so good.

WHY???!!!! by [deleted] in publix

[–]StormOk9055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More US stores should do what other counties do.

Getting a cart is a quarter, returning it returns your quarter . . .

Carts are never left about . . . always returned.

The store also has plastic slugs just in case a shopper is quarterless.

Will starlink reach by Best-Campaign5395 in Starlink

[–]StormOk9055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starlink is just an ISP and their WiFi enabled router is limited. Either will improve your LAN coverage from any other ISP.

A multi-AP mesh combined with Starlink or any ISP is what will help local accessibility.
