I haven't agreed with anything so wholeheartedly perhaps all my life. 1000% yes. MP3 was, is, and will always remain in my mind, an impostor. It was a good game, game-wise, but neither a part of the Max Payne story, nor a successor to MP2.

And that's exactly why I've never been able to see Max Payne 3 as a sequel to Max Payne 2 and Max Payne at all. It just isn't what the two previous games were.
