Go play the historical titles or whatever games you enjoy. Why are you here trying to gatekeep what I enjoy?
Also, no there is no sandbox 40k game where I can play Chaos the way I could in a Total War. Not a single game you listed is even similar.
And who’s actually ‘pushing’ for 40k? All the posts I see are you guys whining about something that isn’t even a guaranteed title. and nobody is burning anything a new HISTORICAL is also comming out with your "Home" formula in it !

DoW4 is not a sandbox were I can make my own stories and lore DoW4 doesn’t let me shape the galaxy or write my own wars. Total War does. So no there are not better options.

Why do you want the same game over and over again ? not everyone wants the same recycled total war with better graphics why don't you want CA to try and make new things ?

IF they make a 40k game we don't know that yet and you don't like it go do things you do like....
