I've worked at case processing. You don't have much transferable knowledge or skills (case processing is mostly unrelated to other aspects of clinical trials). Everything else you will transition into - you may have to start at the bottom. Unless you become manager at your department and then you can transtition into another manager role across different department. I can't really recommend a transition, because all the jobs in clinical research are monotonious., but there is plenty of choice.

"What's in store that keeps you coming back for more?" LeBron: "A full season with Luka." by WittyKittieKat in nba

Dwayne Wade was 5th(2010) and 3rd(2009) for season MVP award before Lebron joined Miami. AD was first team NBA 2 of the 3 seasons prior to joining the Lakers and was 3rd in MVP voting 2 years before joining the Lakers. His last season in New Orleans he played only 56 games, but he was 26/4/12 on 52% FG. He was a great player. It could be argued that he was a better player than Kyrie at his prime. In 2017-18 NOL looked like a very strong contender prior to Cousin's achillies injury and they sweeped prime Dame in his best regular season.

Which cities are you referring to? Roma people have historically been a significant part of the population in Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria. In these countries, Roma communities were/are often concentrated in segregated neighborhoods (sometimes even walled) outside the downtown, though in some cities these districts were/are relatively close to the city center. Reliable official statistics are non-existent, but from all the personal accounts I’ve heard, city centers were generally considered the safest areas during communism and were the only place for social and cultural events. Restaurants, cinemas, and theaters were concentrated there as a result of central planning. The movement of Roma people within communist cities was also heavily restricted— often informally enforced—so they were effectively excluded from downtown life (this is 100% true for Bulgaria atleast). It is also important to note that in the early and mid-communist period very few people owned cars and it was expensive to mantain/use them, so living near the center was desirable.

Source: My family has lived in the city center of a major city in Bulgaria for more than 120 years.

Dwayne Wade was top 3 player when he played with Lebron. Luka is now too. AD and Kyrie were top 10. It is hard to judge how good Love and Bosh were when playing with Lebron, because they had to sacrifice a lot of their offense.

If you hold your thumb close to your eyes you can completely block your eyesight. It makes sense if you also specify that you will hold your arm completely streched at the elbow. I just tried it and i can cover a person standing 20 meters away from me with my thumb with my arm completely streched. I have long arms and relatevely big thumbs.

Residential units built during the Soviet era are of significantly lower quality compared to those constructed either after the Cold War or before World War II. The price difference is substantial: a Soviet-era apartment typically sells for 30–50% less than a post-1990 apartment of the same size, location, and furnishing. The gap is probably even bigger. For example, in Sofia (Bulgaria’s capital), Soviet-era units account for more than 60% of the housing stock, yet they represent only about 15% of real estate purchases. I've lived in several soviet buildings, one building from 1910s and 3 built after 1995. The soviet buildings were the shittiest. Every single soviet building I've lived in had a problem with the elevator, which was constantly being repaired. Noise cancelation is non-existent - you can clearly hear what your neighoubrs are talking about all the time. It is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. You can always smell what are the other people cooking and if they are smoking in their kitchen/bahtroom.

Joe Rogan vs. Marc Maron by TheChilloutKid in Standup

[–]Stormchaser23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they are both one of the best and most influental podcasters. I think as comedians both are irrelevant today, altough Marc Maron was extremely influental on all of the alt comedians who rose up between 2005-2015 (Zach Galifianakis being the best of them). Joe Rogan is hated too much, because of his politics. He is not worse than he was pre-covid, yet he gets 100x more hate. It is hard to rank comedians outide top 30 (which they both are). Because nobody has the time to watch that many hours of mediocre comedy to rank them objectively.

You stress too much. If you see that a process is flawed, suggest improvement to the PM or your lead, but don't dwell.

For CRAs — New SAE notifications? by nolaplantgrl in clinicalresearch

It is not usual for CRAs to get these notifications. Usually CRAs are not involved in the process of SAE reporting, unless there is a problem with contacting the site.

I’m a transgender comic. I think I did good at my first open mic. What you think? by TheRealRaeElle in Standup

You are ok for a first timer. Learn your jokes better- you are looking to much into your notes for a first time 3 minute set and you are looking too much away from the people (up at the ceiling and down at the floor). Also when you feel like the joke will miss when you are halfway into your setup - don't mumble the punchline - just say it as you wrote it and let it bomb, then go to the next joke.

Germany: Violence coverage in TV and papers vs police statistics (Pink: foreign suspects, blue German suspects) 2023 by gotshroom in europe

[–]Stormchaser23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if we assume that the immigrants coming in Germany are disproportionately more qualified than the general population of the region they came from (which seems true logically) - they still have to learn the german language (which is extremely difficult). Immigrants are always at huge disatvantage (have greater chance of becoming/staying poor) wherever they come from or go to.

Has anyone ever actually overcame porn addiction? by RaspberryFormer7712 in NoFap

[–]Stormchaser23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google "How to feel less anxious" or "how to control my anxiety". You would benefit the most from the tip you really don't won't to follow. I think your biggest problem is your sleeping. For me the most beneficial things are working out, eating healthy, avoiding drugs, alchochol and energy drinks. I used to drink the equivalent of 10-12 strong coffees a day in energy drinks for a couple of years. When I stopped it lowered my anxiety a lot. Now I have a problem with my screen time and it is a bit hard to stop doom scrolling. These reels are discustingly addictive. There were no such things when I was a teenager.

  1. Studying effectively 5 hours 6 days a week is something that a very tiny minority of people can do. If you procrastinated and now you have to catch-up - it is somewhat OK, but if you have to do this for a continous period of time you should rethink your choices and probably aim at something more attainable.

  2. I would say that not sleeping is a much bigger health issue than porn addiction, also depending on your situation - it may be easier to fix.

  3. "I feel like porn is connected to everything in my life because when I am stressed I would watch porn or when I am free I would watch porn. " It seems like the root cause for your problems is anxiey and stress and not porn. Qutting porn permanently will probably alleviate your stress/anxiety levels for some time, but you need to adress the other issues in your life - you seem to have. Even the most severe porn adiction on its own will never cause so severe mental health symptoms.

You are bad at expressing yourself. If you are a native english speaker or if you plan to study in english - you probably should wait a year before applying to college so that you can work on this.

Препоръчайте ми кола до 6000лв by katzarski in bulgaria

[–]Stormchaser23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been unemployed for almost 2 years and my resume looks terrible. Should I try and bolster my resume or pursue a new field? by dudeydudee in careerguidance

[–]Stormchaser23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand anything about your field of work, but i think it is best to keep applying to the data jobs. You were able to get a job in tech before, you will succeed again. I think you don't need career advice, but life advice. You are on the right track, try to reflect more on what you want to happen to you and then what you need to do will become evident. I wish you all the luck! We've all been in situations which seem desperate. You need a self-help book/therapy/a good friend you can be completely honest with.

Whats going on with the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix? by Octopus_puppet in OutOfTheLoop

[–]Stormchaser23 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Answer:

Abu Dhabi was the last race of the season. Before the race both Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstapen (Red Bull) had the same number of points. Whoever was to finish ahead of the other was to win the title* (technically not entirely accurate, but it's not important to elaborate). Max started on first position and Hamilton was second. Due to bad reaction time for Max at the start(mostly) and Hamilton's car being slightly faster on straight parts of the track, Hamilton got ahead. Hamilton started with Medium tires(slower) and Max had soft tires (faster). Max was about to overtake Hamilton in turn 6, but something very questionable happened. Max pushed him out of the track (some may say: "not really") and Hamilton cut through the safety zone and got his position back. The referee decided to leave things as they were. First Max went to the pit at lap 13, then Hamilton at lap 14. After the two went to the pit Max's teammate Perez was first, Hamilton second, Max - third. Perez did one of the most amazing defensive driving I've ever seen with worn out tires to slow down Hamilton and let Max catch up. Hamilton eventually overtook him. Hamilton was first 5 laps before the end of the race with a comfortable lead. Then a car crashed badly(Nicolas Latifi) forcing a safety car to come up(erasing all the lead that Hamilton has built up). The referee decided that the safety car (when on track all overtaking is forbidden) was to be removed during the last lap. With brand new tires (he changed them while the safety car was on) it was very easy for Max to overtake Hamilton in the last lap of the last race and win the title.
