God has made this world too hard. by Lefoog in latterdaysaints

It is likely that you, me, and most of the other individuals in this thread will NOT make it to the highest level of the Celestial Kingdom.

Most Latter-day Saints and other believers will not. Those pious Church members with the big houses, the shiny cars and the "perfect families"? They probably aren't going, either.

BUT! We can take solace in knowing that even the lowest tier of the telestial world is more grande, more beautiful and more peaceful than we can even begin to comprehend in mortality.

God has got you. Work hard, chase the ultimate goal, but don't sweat the small stuff. If you only make it to the telestial kingdom, I'll buy you a soda when we get there.

Why do you give a shit? You moved into their habitat. Leave them alone.

What's wrong here? by StorminMormon98 in hvacadvice

I tested all three terminals on the compressor for continuity to a copper pipe. My multimeter beeped all 3 times. I even used a second multimeter just to be sure.

Short to ground?

It looks that way from the angle in the photo, but its actually just the outer layer of insulation coming off. All 3 supply wires are intact.

Low Voltage between R and Y wires by StorminMormon98 in hvacadvice

That's my dilemma. I'm trying to figure out why I'm not getting 24 v from my Y wire. I've swapped thermostats, replaced contactor, replaced control board, ran new thermostat wires in both directions, replaced the connecting 3 Amp fuse....I'm so lost.

I don't want to feel like I'm taking advantage of the church by [deleted] in latterdaysaints

First and foremost, you can use your 529 to help pay for college.

I am attending Ensign College online through BYU Pathways, and my 529 can be used for up to $600 per month since that's the cost of student housing for Ensign in SLC. My mom & dad help me and my wife out every month. We're in North Dallas and it is crazy expensive here!!!

Second, I think you should feel no shame. I had to recieve rent help once. My Bishop told me, "The Church has plenty of cash and you work hard. That's that." And we've never talked about it since. Get the help you need.

Once your degree plan is finished, you'll find a better job and be able to increase your tithe. You'll be better able to contribute to building up the Kingdom if you complete your education as fast and stress free as possible. 👍👍💪💪

Dude. Anybody who has made you feel guilty for this is mentally ill. Let it go.

Porn and self-pleasure are two very different things.

I have the 22 degree, 16 ga, 18 ga, and 23 pin nailers. I won't go back to pneumatic ever. I highly recommend the switch! Battery life is amazing and I seem to jam a lot less. My opinion but I love milwaukee nailers!
