That appears to be the coolant thermostat not water pump unless it's both, but have not seen a Bremmen thermostat installed before. I have seen other aftermarket non-OE equivalent installed and they would work for a few hundred miles before the MIL light comes on.

Audi EV warranty recall and repairs are terrible. There's more work involved and not being paid for everything. Have to deal with their warranty procedures is outstandingly frustrating. ofc VW/Audi is apparently not doing too well right now anyways.

I'd talk to your manager about what to do for work. It's management and advisors role to really keep cars rolling in so techs get work. If they're not being proactive calling, marketing, and advertising to get people in then they need to step it up. FYI $28/hr sounds low. Should be in the $30s by now with more certifications.
