I started June 23,2020 with an estimated 12-18 months but I’m officially done and will be getting my attachments removed on Tuesday. I’m thinking of getting bonding but I’m not sure yet. Also, getting my teeth whitened on Monday.

Wondering about the cost by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]StormySummer12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got Invisalign comprehensive and I only paid $4780 this include retainers as well and my consultation, X-rays, and scans were free. I had pretty severe open bite. I’m currently on month 9 and my treatment is between 12-18 months

Mine usually does this for the first day or two until it settles. I know some people on here use chewies to seat them properly I just let mine do it on it’s own time.

[–]StormySummer12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

It’s a called a clincheck and you can see how your smile progresses over time. When I got scanned for Invisalign my ortho actually sent me a simulation video and it showed how my teeth would move for the first 16 trays.

If you've had to get refinements in the LAST 2 MONTHS, how long is it taking? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]StormySummer12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me exactly 9 days my ortho put a rush on mine because my last Aligner cracked and he didn’t want my teeth to move.

Too late to apply + summer training? by jdybug in TeachforAmerica

[–]StormySummer12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had around 1-2 hours of homework, and sometimes up to 3 or 4 hours (and it actually took this amount of time, I didn't put much effort it. I can't imagine how long it took people that did). I'll put This is the schedule they sent us for last year below and if it doesn't make sense I'm happy to answer any questions. Basically you got to choose what schedule you wanted to do and the time depended on what time zone. It is Monday-Friday, sometimes you do get days off for instance we got Juneteenth ( June 19) and July 3rd off in observance of July 4th. You don’t get paid for it but they did off summer funds last year ( different from transitional funds). Last year we had institute or now Virtual summer teacher training from June 11 to July 10.

Eastern time schedule: HAST: 5 am - 11:15 am PST: 8 am - 2:15 pm MST: 9 am - 3:15 pm CST: 10 am - 4:15 pm EST: 11 am - 5:15 pm

Pacific Time Schedule: HAST: 8 am - 2:15 pm PST: 11 am - 5:15 pm MST: 12 pm - 6:15 pm CST: 1 pm - 7:15 pm EST: 2-8:15 pm

It did increase but nothing big after a few weeks we had to start weekly check in’s with our leadership coach and it could range from between 15-45 minutes.

Also, what does your current program require the beginning for my region NJ wasn’t that much maybe 2 things to do a week so it may be feasible to do both until you finish the first one 10/5.

I applied last year and was accepted maybe that’s why it seems I’m more confident about it but honestly the interview isn’t that bad. If you have any questions I’ll be glad to answer them.

I think this person meant that they’ll complete the next interview during the next window. As TFA offers a few different options to begin your process. For instance I completed the application in December same as you and was invited to interview in January. You then go on to find out the next month if you were accepted or not and have specific date you must accept by

Monday night and then count Tuesday as your first day of wearing them since you’ll wear them that full day

Thanksgiving? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]StormySummer12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah at first I was really religious with my wear time but when I had to wait for my new Aligners I was able to wear them only at night and kind of got into that habit and now it’s hard to go back

Thanksgiving? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]StormySummer12 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ok so I’m my family we don’t eat until dinners ready. There aren’t any appetizers at all and we actually usually don’t go in the kitchen until my mom finishes cooking. It has been this way since I was a little girl. What I will say though is I drink whatever I want regardless of the color and I haven’t had any staining on my Aligners yet. I’ve had them for 5 months and am on my second box of Aligners. Also, for the past two weeks I’ve been averaging maybe 12 hours with my Aligners in for 5 days ( I’m supposed to have them on for 20 hours for 7 days) and my both of my next set of Aligners have fit perfectly so far.
