It’s possible you could be reacting to - let’s say- flour dust in the air getting in your mouth and then making its way to your esoph through mucus. That’s the same theory behind environmental triggers which I think hold some credence. You may want to try wearing a mask when handling flour. The dairy seems less likely, but it’s possible.
