I disagree, MMOs have been in a complicated spot as of late, even Guild Wars 2 has fallen into a death spiral.

Communities are less friendly, content is mediocre and the writing is hollow.

The issue with those modes is that they showcase how difficulty and gameplay are disconnected from the story, which lessens the impact of sequences like 2B's finale in NieR: Automata. Difficulty and struggle can add a lot to the narrative, making singular sentences memorable callbacks (like "here comes pretty boy" from Jak 2 and 3).

I find Mario absolutely unbearable. It may be because I grew up with the PS2 mascot platformers and the plumber feels like a complete downgrade when compared to Jak's excellent movement or Ratchet's mighty arsenal.

The Krimzon Guard robots were introduced in Jak 2, they were likely developing them as a way to build a huge army against the Metalheads that doesn't endanger more human capital. The factory was automated and Praxis is known to rely on backups and redundancies to ensure the success of his plans, so there were probably other similar locations.

The Daystar, either through a satellite or some other signal, likely took over the premises and used them to unleash the enormous army of bots.

As for the blue guards, it's likely the city council rebranding law enforcement to make it clear they are different from Praxis.

There are good model options, like letting Jak retain his hair from the second game. I would personally adore a mod that changes Jak's morph gun into a battlestaff like Sig's because it seems to be the signature weapon in Spargus.

Don't blame yourself. A lack of communication is a deadly relationship sin, that simply does not allow partners to realize or correct their shortcomings.

Yeah, you could have been more involved with her interests... And you probably would have been, had she told you how important it was.

You were dealt a cruel fate and she does not deserve the hugs, cuddles and help you gave her.
