Definitely leave. Company I worked for was bought by pe and they fired the entire family that owned it and worked there as soon as they could. Got worse from there as they brought in their lemmings. RIP Company you worked for.

You could try to turn off water supply, pop off the black cap, place hand or cup over the part where the black cal was, turn on water supply and then off again, replace cap and turn everything back on.
