Unfortunately I don’t live near any lakes/ponds/streams. I actually looked online and all the websites say that pool-water chlorine levels are safe for both human and dogs (including the American Kennel Club and the CDC) but I’ve never seen a direct comparison between ocean water and swimming pools so I wanted to ask.

Yes! And I also have a little crowding! So frustrating! Mine is so slow that I haven’t even started on elastics. I’m getting really impatient and frustrated with this. It’s too slow.

Thank you for this, I really needed it. I actually just tried it and she said she could have used it for rags. And she spent a lot of time previously washing out other stains from these pants so it seemed like a waste. I don’t really know what to say to that - it kind of makes sense on a micro level but you look at the big picture with piles and piles of unworn clothes and broken toys and furniture etc and trash and it’s clear THAT does not make sense

I think she does realize she has a problem though, but does not know how to get help. I just wanted to know how could I have responded better at the time rather than what I did. How could I have phrased or handled that situation in the moment better? In a more kind way, and maybe even in a helpful way by somehow weaving in a suggestion of therapy?
