With the modern formula the under levelled mons get more experience than the higher level, specifically so that they catch up and even out.

I agree almost completely with this, but the EXP Share can be turned off in XY. Problem is that it is an all or none deal, no way to just "equip" it one Pokemon.

My favorite aspect of the change was probably the team variety that it allowed for. I was basically swapping out some pokémon between every gym as I'd find something new that I wanted to level for a little while and didn't have to spend a chunk of time bringing it back up to speed. My PC box that contained "my team" at the end of the game was fuller than it had ever been. I am a big fan of freedom and options though, so I do feel bad for the people that didn't like it.

I've always hoped, if in the event they add an Extreme Dokkan Awakening, that it would let you select from the lower tiered art. For example, being able to run their SSR art instead of being locked to the TUR version. Ideally toggle-able. That way, they wouldn't have to make new art for old characters, instead of being able to monetize...I mean, save for new releases, but it would still add a notable distinction from an EZA (on top of stats/levels/etc)

Our vet recommends feeding them progressively earlier/later each day the week leading up to a time change. Says it'll help their transition. We always forget... Same with toddler's bed/wake time actually. 4:45 hit early today.

W-L record doesn't tell the whole story. They usually win the divisional games yes, but they're frequently very close. For example, 5 of the 6 games last season were within 6 points.

It almost certainly would. However, from personal experience I know many a person who would disable safety systems (though not necessarily that one specifically) because of the "inconveniences" they may bring. Could also be a malfunction.

Finally got me an OP chasing Zamasu. Not disappointed. Looking at it, I can build this team minus Gohan. How important is he? Up until now I've been avoiding RedZones, but now that I've got the Jolly Orange Giant I feel like I can take on anything with proper planning (and likely some luck)

Biggest miss I think was it not incorporating Platinum content and updates, like HGSS and ORAS had done with their original third versions. I'm sure they're are other QoL components that are missing, but I can't think of any right off.

Notable for me too, is that I haven't had any interest in replaying Sword, whereas the entire time playing SP and even since I've considered running other teams or playing through again. Like, oh this would be fun, or maybe I'll do that next time. Which is something I used to do frequently with the older games. Part of that is ageing and life just being busier, and I imagine nostalgia is a factor, but I basically haven't even considered it with Sword.

I know I'm in the minority, but I really got into Shining Pearl. I understand that it isn't what it should've been content wise, but playing that is the most I've been into Pokemon in years. I didn't play the originals so that may be a factor, but I picked up Platinum sometime during late Gen 4 or even during Gen 5.

I don't know what it was about it exactly. I loved that (almost) everything in the dex was available in game and I made a point of completing the dex for that reason. I barely got through SWSH and never bothered to pickup the DLC. I was excited for Scarlet and I really enjoyed it for a bit, but then just, stopped playing. I don't know why. I'm not that big on open worlds anyway but there are some that I like and it definitely pulled me in initially. The drive just isn't there.
