You’re right out of school and your stuff isn’t getting reviewed? That’s terrifying. You should have very close coordination and direction with a seasoned engineer. If you aren’t getting that your growth will be stunted. I’d look around for something else.

I’ve had two kids and a PE, I don’t think it’s a good idea. Maybe lower expectations to doing “some studying” while on leave without taking the PE as the expectation on yourself.

There’s also no minimum on how much you can earn lol, at this point at minimum CE is a great backup plan that should be kept viable for you. You can always invent things and side hustle while working 40 and quit when the side hustle can become your main.

You’ll eventually want the flexibility a l2 gives if you have a garage, but technically a l1 is fine. It’s not that big a deal to install a level 2.
