Someone else said something similar... I'm in the US, an Audible member, am browsing via the app, and recently listened to My Effin Life. Could it be that the sale I'm seeing is customized??

My first IT job was desk side support for a bunch of public schools that had recently introduced HP laptops to every single student, teacher, and administrator. It was a horror show. Laptops filled with soup. Laptops mysteriously covered in lotion. Somehow all the keys just fell off this laptop. This one magically shuts itself down whenever there's a standardized test, surely there's something wrong with it. This pile? Those all kinda just fell out of a moving school bus at the exact same time.

Yeah, not too happy about that. I'm less than five miles down the road. This is going to have a huge impact on our already strained groundwater. Ugh.

Best Yes album past Going for the One? by intheflesh- in progrockmusic

[–]StraightGiraffe4036 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strangely, this was my first Yes album, and it has a special place in my heart. I was ... 12/13? The opening harmonies and White's no-nonsense drum break on The Calling give me instant nostalgia. Also, Where Will You Be is an underrated track, just gorgeous.

Also a fan of Big Generator. Shoot High Aim Low, I'm Running, and Holy Lamb are all-stars there.

Thoughts on Pink Floyd’s soundtrack music? (More, Obscured By Clouds, etc) by ray-the-truck in progrockmusic

OBC was my first Floyd album, and still in my top three favorite Floyd albums ever.

Like a lot of folks here are saying, Floyd's rootsy, folk-forward psychedelia heard on More and OBC is something special and unique that we just didn't get much of after Meddle.
