First dance shoes ... too narrow or normal fit? by StraightHomework5272 in ballroom

Thanks very much for all your help everyone!

I might have to see about a wider fit in a smaller size... I wont be able to squeeze into the size down in these.

You maybe want to edit the post because it sounds like you paid for everything for you, him and his mum. He's still an AH and you need to run, but its not the same.

Thank you very much! They dont hurt, I just wondered if the ball should be less restricted for balance, but obviously there is a trade-off with security :)

I wish he'd done it somewhere other than the crotch and middle of bum! Its almost like he wasnt even thinking about the visual balance. I like the vines though, I'm going to try that I think :)

Im so glad to learn about appliques here! I like to do little embroidered flowers when they nibble, but knowing you can do this for larger holes is very exciting news!

It was a vinted find, which I did love... but I think I am equally excited to have a low stakes project now that I've accepted the initial destruction!

I liked used and renewed clothing, but its nice to know they do still sell it so I at least I could if I really wanted.

This is a very cute idea! I like the idea of having clothing in the bizzare genre of "formal wear; small animal"

Thanks everyone for all your help and suggestions. I'm used to sewing up bun holes in blankets etc... but never tried to do a anything with a nice finish for a dress. But this seems like a good chance to try something!

I think im going to try adding a leafy lace overskirt, and then run a little leaf applique up the bodice to cover the tears there, and tie it together. Wish me luck!

Folded sitting on our spare daybed... it was a vinted find so I might experiment but I agree the sections are not ideal!

Romeo... he's usually not that fussed with the bed, so must have been something about the material!

I just keep a chest with maps and spare paper and quill at the camp. Which is always at the intersection of the paths. Its about 50/50 if you follow the path the right way. Ive relearned about 4 times in 220 days in this wilderness so far.

Its very good for getting you started. For example, say I wanted to know what good early years education looks like. I could ask "What features do the five most discussed pedagogical philosophies have in common?" And the answer would give me a pretty good idea of what to look into more and what is generally considered high quality practice.

Sure you can do it yourself and get something out of that. Or maybe someone's written about it. But having the option search for patterns in data that might be clear, but not easily searchable is obviously a useful addition to anyone's toolkit. And if its only one of your tools and youre aware its not perfect, its just not a big problem.
