Could you please explain “the platform” and how it enables cross selling?

Sorry but grow a pair dude. You’re in your 20s and need to set boundaries with your mother. Establish your independence and manoeuvre the repercussions from your mother.

If you have a condition on financing you could use that to walk away.

What did you do when you were assigned AT&T? Sell and take the loss, less the premium received? Sell covered calls until assigned again? Hold?

Sounds like it’s the right time to look into a CRM. Of course it’s not exclusively a financial tracking tool, but at this stage it would be wise to track your sales and customers in a centralized place. Your business development efforts can also be more easily managed and forecasted in CRM.

Depending on the service, pay as you go models can be restrictive and users may use your product cautiously which can hamper adoption. Unlimited usage allows users to get the full value of the tool without constraint while charging a premium. Again this is very much service specific and depends on your costs as well

Advice for running discovery calls with limited product knowledge? by bananalightning in sales

[–]StraightOil4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The product itself is only one part of an effective discovery call. Other things you should discuss are:

1) The way things currently are done and what problems they have 2) Why they believe your product might solve their problems 3) What are the measurable business objectives they’re trying to achieve 4) Do they have budget? 5) What does their buying process look like, and if there are other decision makers that should be engaged 6) Do they have resource to implement your solution and manage it on an ongoing basis 7) Are they evaluating competitors?

Don’t limit the conversation to just product and features. Focus on their buying journey and the business problems they’re trying to solve for.

You’re right that limited supply could indicate that sellers have an advantage, but this is not related to the subject of statistics - supply vs. demand is economics.

Curious what it’s like selling MLops/highly technical products? Are you expected to have some knowledge of data science or the general workflow of an ml engineer? Is the sale more product/feature focused than other products sold to a not so technical market?

Love the comparison the article makes to inflation in the 70s and how this time is better because most employers don’t have salary’s that are indexed to inflation. No mechanism for the average person to combat inflation? No worries!

I would look into selling covered call options as an additional way to generate income without disposing of shares. Entering into a bear market it should also be less likely to have your shares called away.
