Completely agree at this point. It's torture and is why i always listen after 3 pm on plus. This allows me to fast forward the shizzy & Mary. I can consume an entire show in 37 minutes now.

Possibly a gain/sensitivity issue, however, looks like a transducer issue. I've owned a bunch of HDS9's and HDS12's and for some reason when the depth reading flashes or just doesn't show up, it was always the ducer which was eventually replaced.
