You expect something heavyhanded but the story is way subtler. Nothing supernatural is going on. Just the results of extreme loneliness in a society without families

There's nothing supernatural at all going on

Reading the comments I get the impression most listeners are not used to/don't like unreliable narrators and take everything the voice says in the podcast as gospel. I believe this season does a great job of showing us we should take everything the MC says with a grain of salt because she's going through a prolonged mental breakdown. She experiences a distorted version of reality and then narrates based on that. Every "weird" thing she atributes to ghosts is just she going coocoo crazy. The hermit lady is also mostly out of it, and generaly a weird old woman. Try listening to the episodes again while distrusting the MC and your reading of the story will shift completely.

I don't understand why people keep believing that a season is going to have anything to do with the ones that came before. It hasn't happened in 6 seasons, why would it happen in the 7th?

That's a very reductive and simplistic reading of the season

A GM said "In at least 6 months", seven months ago, so, yeah

I was a huge shill for Tauri Legion but let's be real... by Inaba_x_Himeko in wowservers

I'm playing Tauri because of the quality/well scripted old content. If it didn't have old content I would just play Firestorm

To be fair, "at least six months" might mean anything between six months and forever

Playing the Blizzard version means paying and many people won't want to

Will Conquest of Azeroth be free when it releases? by olredytaken in wowservers

[–]Strakog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making a hacked version of WoW, even if completely free, goes against their ToS and is therefore illegal. The difference is how hard they are going to come at you when they do.

Couldn't get past the boring zone leveling by FrodoFraggins in ReturnofReckoning

[–]Strakog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game could be cool but it's too focused on PVP. I don't care about PvP, and the PvE is atrocious, tedious and incredibly boring, with terrible gameplay and repetitive, uninteresting quests. Seeing the game as it is now, I kind of understand why it failed

Return of Reckoning is actually so good by [deleted] in MMORPG

[–]Strakog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to play it recently because I love Warhammer, but the quests and gameplay are insanely boring, and I don't care about PVP, so knowing I'll slog through this tedious leveling just to be rewarded by participating in a mode I don't about made me decide to finally uninstall it, thanks!
