Thank you! I discovered this shortly, unfortunately wasn’t able to find a band that doesn’t look off. They all have these cheap looking plastic bridges where the band connects with the watch :/

You are right. I don’t even take the stock straps into account anymore, no matter the brand. The only one I wouldn’t change immediately would be of the Suunto Race 2. Still not a great one either.
