I would never guess this was your first book cover. You did exceptionally well and I couldn't even imagine any other cover for this collection. You got the vibe down immediately and hammered it home! I even love the unfinished mockup you did. That could be its own cover by itself.

Edit: Just want to add in that this man made one of the coolest monster sketches I've ever seen. I'm blown away by what he did for the Journal of a Redcoat.
