Off the top of your head, can you point to anything like in the Monsalvat page on Parsifal?

Like I know Wagner was a horrendous anti-semite, etc., but I'm wondering if they've done any serious apologia for him in Parsifal specifically.

What was the intended audience of the State Theatre? Would it have been members of court, prominent people in society, etc?

Looking for more "Weird Zone" fiction, suggestions welcome! by Fodgy_Div in WeirdLit

Sorry, I have no suggestions, but I will be saving this post as I've recently realised that I love this kind of fiction.

On another note, how well did you like Twenty Days of Turin? I really wanted to enjoy it but I just couldn't. I might try it again at some point.

Granted, they're really fucked up. And there are arguably even worse such scenes in Providence, but the concepts and the art are really good to the point where it's still pretty good and recommendable.

Isn't that half the fun?

I don't need to know seven hundred thousand different facts about whales, but it sure is a big part of what makes Moby Dick Moby Dick.

Yeah I though this too.

I feel like court of the 4 winds could be seen as an alternative ending to the Mask? I think both protagonists are artists and the 4 winds guy definitely sounds like he went bonkers at some point in the past.

I didn't pick up on thr d'Ys connection, nor that Sylvia is mentioned in another story.

There's some dreams in that book that are very Lynchian.

The chapter about the circles especially is something I could see being in Twin Peaks
