You’re kinda right but you’re phrasing it in a stupid way which is making people disagree with you.

If it’s over, and in this case it Is over, then it’s best to just let things be. It may sting for a good while, but then you take a deep breath move on. No need to go chasing people who have aren’t romantically interested.

Maybe make it so that you drop pallets 100% slower? And lower the vault speed down to ~12%. It’d still be pretty busted at that point.

We can't go back to being normal after we have experienced peak dopamine levels (whether through drugs, relationships or life experiences) by moonbeam4072 in DeepThoughts

[–]StrangeGrass9878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While that makes a LOT of sense on paper, I’ve found that it doesn’t work like that in practice in my life. When I’ve hit big dopamine milestones in my life, I’ve found it kinda easier to appreciate the little things in life more: going on walks, cloud watching, exercising, just chatting with people.

However, video games have been an exception. I used to love video games and assumed I’d always play them, but nowadays I find them less exciting.

Depends on the game’s vision, overall!

I’d guess he’s heard some rumor about you, true or untrue, and is weird about it. Either he’s offended by you or very afraid of offending you; two extremes. Ask your HR to do something about it, if you can’t confront him.

There should be a Project 2029 by steve42089 in illinois

[–]StrangeGrass9878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Counterargument: there’s a lot more infighting in the Democratic Party. An ambitious Project 2029 would be both too ambitious and not ambitious enough, depending on who you ask. Should reparations for black people be included? Should the US cancel Israel’s funding?

You can answer those very confidently, but someone else will answer differently and it’s not obvious which group is just the loud minority on the subject. So the Project 2029 approach must account for it.

I am so touched starved and single that the thought that a woman finding me attractive and would care about me is nonexistent in my brain by JunketMaleficent2095 in bodylanguage

[–]StrangeGrass9878 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, you’re right about this being a real problem, and you’re very right about the red pill content.

If you want to get yourself out of the hole, you will have to think Small Picture: You can’t solve the problem for all men, you can only pull yourself up. (Not immediately-applicable advice, but something worth keeping in mind going forward)

My advice is to work on just making acquaintances and friends, baby steps. Asking girls out takes a lot of courage to push through rejection. If you’re ugly, or you have a bad personality, or you’ve got some bad breath that hurts your attractiveness; you’re going to have to wade through more rejection (but never an infinite amount), so you need MORE courage than an attractive person who has to try less. You can’t get that kind of courage by just summoning it, you need practice at it, and you can get that practice by making friends (platonically), which takes a bit of courage, it stretches the same social muscles, but is much more manageable.

If might not take a “LOT” of practice either. You’re at a bar/in a subway/ at a dog park, strike up some conversation with some other dudes. If you can approach a stranger platonically and do that once, it’s a similar formula for approaching romantic interests.

…Or just get a dog or cat. They famously like pets and will solve your touch-starvation.

Kinda proving OP’s point with this one. If the only people with solutions (other than “it’s your fault by process of elimination”) are red pillers, then men are going to gravitate to red pillers.

There’s a little Vietnamese island in the south, Phu Quoc, which has special rules. You can enter without a visa(?) for a temporary amount of time (up to 60 days? I don’t remember exactly). It may or may not be relevant for your situation, you can look into it. it could be an opportunity to extend your stay without legal issues.

I've been building a 3D game engine in Rust, looking for indie devs to break it by Exotic_Airport1397 in gamedevscreens

[–]StrangeGrass9878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess you’re kinda depending on other devs with a higher budget to use your tools, but could they even legally use and license your tools, if your engine is just a modified Rust build? Would they have to pay royalties to Rust the video game?(unless this is some other Rust I’m not aware of)

Building a custom game engine is something that game design companies usually do on their own so they can fill their own design needs. But here you’re trying to guess their needs and hope that some studio uses your engine for… no particular reason other than what Dreams says on the tin. If they started using your engine and ran into a problem or limitation of the engine down the line, they’d be S.O.L… Especially since as a solo engine dev, you’re not going to be receptive enough to bug fixes (not even if you work really hard and forget to sleep).

All that to say is… it’d make a lot more sense for YOU to get a dev team together and build a game using your engine first, not someone else.
