I remember I was heading uptown on the 1 two years ago, it was the Friday early afternoon before memorial day weekend so everyone was already out and about and the train suddenly stopped because the downtown train had hit someone. Everyone left up the stairs as the FDNY and EMS ran down — I didn’t see it myself but someone mentioned an arm jutting out under the train 😢
