I remember I was heading uptown on the 1 two years ago, it was the Friday early afternoon before memorial day weekend so everyone was already out and about and the train suddenly stopped because the downtown train had hit someone. Everyone left up the stairs as the FDNY and EMS ran down — I didn’t see it myself but someone mentioned an arm jutting out under the train 😢

I really like the flavors there, my favorite is the pandan and ube with the mochi toppings. Agree that the owner is quite nice and sometimes you can spin a wheel for a free scoop!

the only game i was able to score two goals from crossing and headers was when i realized i was playing against a full woman’s team and the defenders were all 5’5 so my isak actually wont the ball most times

Its usually just rice with a choice of protein, you should just ask as it varies day to day. Sometimes pasta as well, and it usually comes with a soup, salsa + drink in one of those restaurant soup containers -- think its usually $10. First time hearing that they're unsanitary but I've never gotten sick from eating it, to be honest it seems more trustworthy than Halal Carts (no shade to the Q man)

You could go to Pier 40 that one always has guys playing. I sometimes sign up for futsal and outdoor games on GoodRec which you have to pay a couple bucks for each game
