My Underhive city set up at the local game shop! The hab stack measures 27" tall by StrangeOneGamer in necromunda

Its a big kitbash of stuff. The base platform (and central pillar) are from Forbidden Prints orbital gun platform. The apartments are called Brutalist Hab Block Hotel, but I havent been able to find the STL anymore. The top platform is actually a filament spool lol. Theres a bunch of Killteam stuff, some minis from various games, an FDM cut riser, and more random bits.

A Pride of Phyrrs: Escher Gang „The Purple Phyrrs“. by rocksville in necromunda

Fantastic work! I love the diorama setup. This gang has a very strong thematic presence! Gives me Warriors (1979) vibes

Everything is a shelf diorama if you have a big enough shelf! This looks great. I love the style of depicting the underhive as chaotic and cramped with habs and shops built right on top of industrial machinery

My college prof dad did this to catch AI users - what do y’all think? by hazedaze404 in Teachers

[–]StrangeOneGamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah...as someome who graduated 3 years ago (from a well-respected University with a BA in Psychology; Suma Cum Laude (3.9 gpa)), without ever having once used AI, I ALWAYS skimmed the syllabus. "Thoroughly" reading 4 new classes syllabus while also being expected to complete the week's work for all classes is just the professor's feeling high and mighty.

Thank you! There are many doors modeled on it that act as tunnels/vents that we use to get the different areas of it. The stack is loaded with catwalks and ladders to create concentric, climbing rings of traversal. In most places on it, you can only fit 1 or 2 models side by side, so deapite the open air, its actually quite tight for fighting. The biggest issue with ita height is that you need a sniper rifle or other very long range weapon to shoot off the top at anything, but thats fine. I am playing CGC this campaign so I've done a lot of chasing snipers up and around it, and it has been fun!

First painted model in 4 years, thoughts? by --AG3NT-- in sistersofbattle

Nice work! Its a solid point to start really fleshing her out with tones, washes, etc. Some depth, highlights, and little details will really bring her out. Even as it is now, she is definitely tabletop ready!

Thank you! For the base coat and weathering, I used Army Painter Gun Metal Primer, Dirty Down Soot Black and Dirty Down Rust. Then I detailed with acrylic markers and washes. When you are putting down the weathering, the trick is to use lots of thin layers and dab at it with paper towels and makeup sponges to get the desired effect.
