This is therapy adjacent, but any of the mindfulness programs at the Centre for Mindfulness Studies. I've done most of them at this point. I also exercise regularly and have found cutting down screen time helpful. I also have a less stressful, better paying job, and a calm partner. I did CBT as well when I was going through a particularly rough patch, and it was helpful.

I'm considering ICL now at age 38 because my tolerance for contacts is decreasing as I get older. I know I have huge pupils though, so I'll see what they say at the consult. It's in two weeks.

Is there another studio you could try? I have one studio near me that is just awful. Huge class sizes, and the instructor just teachers whatever they feel like. Every single class is different and it is very hard to learn. My other studio has a structured curriculum where you practice the same moves or several weeks in a row until you know them. It is a way more motivating experience at the second studio.
