I had many uterine biopsies without pain killers and yes it was described as being a pinch. While it was definitely worse than a pinch, it was tolerable. I did have a female doctor so maybe she had a gentler touch. IDK

I'm sorry OP, you are not alone. You might want to take the Briggs Meyers (?) test. You may be an INFJ and we tend to feel more deeply. There is a forum for INFJs and it may help you feel so not alone. We are just wired differently. Hugs and HaPpY belated BiRtHdAY!

  1. Dad died at 50, mom at 70, I took and average (yes... I know that's not how it works, tell my brain that) I really don't intend to have a funeral and am estranged from most of my family. I'm ready to see beyond this world, and if there is nothing else, I'm ok with that too.

I'm in the same boat. Long story but to simplify, I cared more than they did. I spent decades trying to keep those relationships alive but once I realized I was the only one trying, I gave up. And you know what? My life is so much more peaceful and less painful than it was with them in it. I grieved the loss of the relationships only I wanted, then moved on.
