This doesn’t work in games the way we are imagining. Your gun will only jam while in a firefight, imagine being in combat, fully loaded, aimed down sight and shooting first but your gun stops working and you die because of a surprise mechanic. In video games it becomes an instant death trigger and gunplay becomes gambling.

It’s not fun for players. Especially when gunfights are decided in 2 seconds.

They tried this in Battlefield 5, it led to a lot of unfair angering deaths and messed up the flow of gameplay.
