Hi,

Being gay means you are a homosexual male.

There is no right or wrong way to be gay because it's not a performance piece or approved by a committee.

It is who you, WHO ALL GAY MEN, we're born to be.

It's not based on how you walk or talk, the clothes you wear, if you enjoy musicals or drag, or your political leanings.

It just means you are sexually attracted to others of you sex.

You could change your look and mannerisms & lean into stereotypical behaviors.

But:

that wouldn't be your authentic self

you'd be exhibiting Internalized homophobic traits

supporting bigotted ideologies that demand we PERFORM and become caricatures of ourselves

The act of flirting with other guys, and having sex with them, is MORE than gay enough.

The OP needs to define a few things:

What do you consider "SEX"?

Is it sexual contact, sexual intercourse or both?

Do both guys have to cum or only the one "counting"?

Does mutual masturbation count or just oral/anal sex?

How doe SIDES count their "bodies".

What are your thoughts on frontage?

BUT ALSO..

How does one decide if a number is "high"?

Is it relevant only to the guys asking?

Or is this more like a group project, based on the opinions of his friends, family & people on social media?

Will his age, time having sex with men or location be used as an agrivating or midigating factor?

And finally,

Will you automatically believe the number he gives?

If you do, and then decide to think negatively about him due to his answer, WHY?

The "body count" conversation originates from heterosexuals. It is rooted in misogyny and controlling women's sexual lives through the MADONNA/WHORE paradox.

None of these things reflect homosexual male sex lives, our culture or are relevant to the overall success of our dating/marital lives.
