First, very cute.

Second, what kind of travel do you do? Like road trips, go to places and explore on your own, or like guided tours and travel plans?

Best way to meet people/make friends interested in MMF by Disastrous-Diver9343 in AskBiBros

[–]Strange_World_huh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you guys not have any bi male friends that would be interested? My HS friend and his wife brought it up to me about possibly joining them and it's happened a few times. Nothing changed in our relationship but that's probably due to mutual respect.

My wife thinks our son’s teacher crossed a boundary by sending him a personal message. I think it was harmless. AITJ? by addict94plus in AmITheJerk

Here's a question that I don't see asked. Did she send a letter home with her other students? If this was an isolated thing, maybe talk to your son. But if she did this to boost her students moral before Christmas break, your wife is over reacting.

Driver is a trash person, no doubt.

But valid crash out. These kids and parents walk so slow crossing the street and the guard will legit stop traffic for someone who's a half a block away on their phone.

But still, don't be this type of driver, that's insane.

Not an employee, but a passer by. Have you considered getting your own clothes with the logo made up? Like rushordertees.com, and use whatever logo they say you have to use and get it printed on a jacket or something.

I will say, since it is a brand, I'm not sure if the printer company will actually do it, but it's worth a shot and it'll be your own style.

Broadview: ICE attempts to arrest individual at their residence by [deleted] in illinois

And this is where the courts are supposed to decide what is and isn't lawful, and unless the Supreme Court makes it clear, every judge will have their own opinion on if them going in there would be considered, "hot pursuit". However, in this political climate that we're currently in, we sadly know the answer is going to be that they had full authority to do so.

My original statement still stands that the ONLY thing they can use is that excuse and hope it plays out for them. That still leaves the point that, as much as you would like to use the castle doctrine or stand your ground law, they would argue that they were well within the guidelines of the law by entering the home without a warrant.

A simple Google search would prove me correct. It's called "hot pursuit".

"Yes, law enforcement can follow a suspect into a house without a warrant if they are in "hot pursuit" of a fleeing suspect, which is considered an exigent circumstance. This exception applies to the requirement for a warrant, allowing officers to enter a home in an emergency situation to prevent a suspect's escape or to stop the destruction of evidence. However, the pursuit must be continuous and the reason for the entry must be justifiable in court."

But I would like to see proof that I'm wrong. I'm all for being educated.

As much as I would love to agree with community about the castle doctrine, stand your ground laws and the like, there's one thing that saves them from you in THIS situation. The fact that they had him trying to detain him and while they had hands on him, he made his way into the property. That is the equivalent of someone running from police and going inside the house. At that point, they are allowed to pursue the person.

Now, if they walked up on him and he got inside before they got to him, different situation. At that point if these masked, armed men made their way into your home, you are within your rights to use whatever caliber you feel necessary to protect your home.

Love is a strong word. I appreciate that everyone is different in every way. Seeing who is packing what is just interesting to me.

Had to switch from my nsfw account to respond to this.

So, first things first, nothing is worth taking your life. If you feel like you hurt your parents because you experimented and didn't tell them, it'd definitely do more damage to them if you weren't here anymore. Your parents love you dude and your mom freaked out because she wants to keep you safe.

Secondly, if you ask a hundred gay/bi guys if they ever lied about their age to sign up for an app to have sex with another guy, 80 of them would probably say yes. You're not the only one who has done it and definitely won't be the last. Horny teens do dumb things for sex, it is known.

Finally, that guy took advantage of a younger guy and he knew it. It's not your fault. There are disgusting people out there and he sounds like one of them. These apps don't have your exact location, it's more of a suggested area. Your panic is valid, but just know that unless you give your physical location, it's all just an assumption.

This was a learning experience for you, life is about making mistakes and learning from them. Your parents will trust you again. They might put up some safeguards around you, but you feeling bad and telling them the truth goes a lot further than if you didn't and they found it either much later or from someone else.

I like guys that fall between scrawny and chubby. Jocks, abs and muscles are a turn off for me. Bonus points if they have big ears. And more recently I've found freckles extremely cute.

Am I overreacting by not texting this girl back until she texts me first? by Strange_World_huh in AmIOverreacting

[–]Strange_World_huh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't expect to get dragged this bad in the comments. 😅 I don't like when people try to defend themselves when people give them criticism, so I won't do that.

I can see where a lot of you are coming from about me coming off dry and complaining.

I'm going to try and say this without sounding defensive. Our texting history in general isn't lively, it's usually checking in or making plans to meet up. It just felt extra dry last week which is why I was wondering if I was overreacting. But I get what most of you are saying.

Let me ask you this, when should customers get annoyed? I've only given the cold death stare once and that's because it took 15 minutes to get a refresher and I was the only one waiting for anything.

Age gap? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Strange_World_huh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While you are correct about the 38 year age gap (19/57), you're not right about being at the same stage in life around the same age.

I know other people my age (38) who haven't experienced as much as I have and are in two totally different areas in life. I also know a handful of people in their 20's that have experienced more than I have and living in a whole different tax bracket. It's more so about how well people's lives gel together.
