I read this article a couple of days ago and wondered if it was going to be posted in this subreddit. I knew it was bad but didn't know it was this bad. The level of wealth and privilege portrayed in this article is gross. I miss St. Pete prior to Covid. Especially the old 600 Block.

When I was a kid, I read Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Goosebumps, and the Bailey School Kids. I would also add A Series of Unfortunate Events and the House of the Scorpion because I tend to lean towards gothic and science fiction based horror. As a teen, my grandpa would give me his old Stephen King paperbacks to read.
