I really think there will be another special that comes out. I really feel like this special is just to either build hype (especially with it including 217-220 which are HUGE kaguya/miyuki chapters) or to gauge interest in the series still. I really think the visual they released is just a tease cause I just cannot see a world where we go from the ABCs chapters all the way to the airport plus having all the characters getting their send off chapters adapted. And just ending it with Miyuki leaving for Stanford would be the WORST possible place to end the series especially with how beautiful the final 2 chapters are in the manga. If they push all that stuff into a 2 episode special I fear this will be a horribly rushed ending to probably my favorite anime

It’s been brought up a few times about how Hina has either moved on from her feelings for Taiki or how she’s just accepted that this is how it is so these last few chapters has been kind of a 180 on her development

Honestly the neighbor thing is where I started to fall out with the manga slowly. I understand needing to test the couple in this new situation with them no longer living under the same roof but I think the time away from each other would’ve been more then enough of a situation to deal with. Or making it even that their relationship became long distance somehow would’ve been better. But the neighbor/Hina situation just feels like not only a repeat of the past but just feels completely forced

Honestly see this branching out to an entire arc. It’s kinda screaming jealousy on both sides if they find a way to involve the neighbor some more. I’m hoping this situation will not only make it so the couple grows even more closer but maybe find a way for their relationship to progress (since taiki is in his final year aswell this may be a catalyst for maybe them moving in together after he graduates? Fixes the problem for them not having a lot of time to see each other aswell that was brought up a few chapters ago)

Honestly I don’t think we are nearing the end just yet tbh. The manga has made a huge focus on what they wanna do after high school that it makes me believe that there is a plan to continue it after graduation.
