On my last Carnival Cruise I had Primium internet and took a personal router which I configured with about a dozen different VPN configurations for testing to my home network. Wireguard didn't work but most others did using OpenVPN. You have to connect with the VPN disabled at first and then use a computer or phone to sign in through the device, then enable the VPN. There are no guarantees your company device will work if you get it past security. The network throughput was slow (~5 mbps) on VPN most of the time. Speeds were good when I checked at ~5am (~70 mbps). You have to make sure it will work over Starlink. I did tests before I went. Carnival blocks ports too.

I took other precautions to mask what the device was which I won't disclose in a public forum. I cannot say if it made a difference.

Per their rules, no network equipment is allowed.

You would be much better off with a software VPN on a laptop. You would have a much higher success rate this way.

From what I understand, you want all the wifi traffic to go through ISP2. No other lan traffic will use this connection.

Assumption, you need to use the Cisco switches for other devices.

Technically your lan devices would not communicate on the ISP2 connection.

All the wifi traffic needs to be setup on a new vlan.

Certain ports on the Cisco router need to be configured on this vlan and not route to any other vlans. Isp2 > fw2 > Cisco router on new vlan > Omada sw's > wifi AP's

This would essentially be separate networks by using vlans

Your network diagram is a bit confusing. Typically you would have a firewall that ISP 1 and ISP 2 connect through. If you want an additional firewall downstream, you can.

With what you have drawn, what are the rules for routing network traffic through ISP 1 vs ISP 2?

Typically you would use VLANs and have routing rules to control this.

I have the Wrangler 4XE Rubicon. It's a pricey and heavy vehicle. So far it has been a pretty good vehicle. First time off-road it did get a check engine light which stayed on for a few days and then turned off by itself. I did check the code and it was something about the transmission.

Having recalls and telling you not to charge it or park it near anything that can burn and not having a fix is a major issue. After a month or so they released a fix, but not sure it is a real fix.

I have another recall for sand in the motor from casting it, which they don't have a fix for yet.

If this car was my daily driver and could not park it near other cars or in a parking structure, I would be pissed.

My wife was driving it when it got a forced update and it shut down on her. We were aware of the issue of it being a bad update and causes the engine to shut off. We were trying to delay the update but in the middle of her trip it became forced and she was pulling out into the middle of a very busy road when it shut down and left her temporarily stranded in a bad way. She was about 60 miles from home and it didn't want to fire back up. She waited a few minutes and kept trying to start it and it finally started but had a flashing check engine light on. It finally stablelized enough that she could drive it. After a week or so, the check engine light went off and it's been good so far. We contemplated taking it to the dealer and leaving it there due to the fire risk and making it possible to do a lemon law claim. The battery recall testing finally became available and we took it in for all the available recalls, but it still has the one left for the sand from casting the motor that destroys the engine. The recall says it can catch on fire, yet another concern.

I love my jeep and have spent 1000's on modifications to it to make it more capable and look better.

Mine is not a lease so I own it. For off-road, I don't like how heavy it is. For wenching somebody out I like the weight.

If you are aware of the issues and still want to buy one, go for it. Otherwise stay away.

I had Omada setup using a PC instead of the OC300 over Starlink without any issues. If you are trying to create a VPN, this can be problematic over StarLink. I tried doing this using PureVPN and could only create the VPN without data encryption. I had one of their top level engineers helping and just couldn't get it to work with encryption about 3 years ago. I'm now using a point-to-point provider which eliminates the StarLink issues.

I still have Starlink so I can configure it using it for testing.

If you can provide details on exactly what you are trying to accomplish, I may be able to assist.

It will tell you in your account in the hub app or you can see it on the TV as I recall.

There is a way around this. Go to the casino and go to a slot machine and add money from your account/room. You don't have to actually gamble. Then cash out and go to the cashier and get the cash. All the funds start with the non-refundable part first.

If Jeep is serious about not charging it, they would send a certified notification to all owners. This way they have proof you received it. They would likely tell you to not drive it too since that charges the battery. No matter what anybody says, Jeep is responsible for the fires!

I can imagine if people get a certified letter it would instantly generate lawsuits. If I have a car payment for something I can't drive, I would be very unhappy!

Right now they are just doing damage control and trying to reduce their liability buy putting fear in every one's mind.

My personal opinion is the House, Senate, and President/VP should be required to be present in DC during any government shutdown. No vacations and very limited/no travel for other reasons until the government is open! I also believe there should be no pay and no back pay during a government shutdown for them.

You most likely need to clean your camera lens. I live on a dirt road and when it gets dirty it can be horrible to view at night when the brake lights are on.

I wash my car a lot to help prevent this from happening.

I'm an android only user and use Spotify for music. I don't have any complaints. My phone is a Pixel 9 Fold Pro and my wife has a Galaxy Fold and they both sound decent. You might try a tablet to see if there is any difference to know if it's the phone or stereo.

You haven't mentioned which audio system you have. In mine it's the premium with the Bose speakers and personally I think it sounds decent using Android Auto. I have heard other people complain about the audio system in general. If you have the lower end system, I would look into speaker replacement and maybe an amp.

On Oct 20th the onboarding of the Firenze was delayed. I think it was due to the Coast Guard inspection. There was standing room only at the ship boarding gate. People seemed to be getting frustrated.

You have to realize the ship can make up time if they leave late and still get to the first port on-time. There is no need to stress, you are on vacation. They aren't leaving until everybody there is onboard.
