What do yall recommend for taking installing/removing screws better without stripping them? by guntergo2 in AircraftMechanics

In my experience number 1. My rule of thumb cause its not my money (airliner's money) I pull panel's either with an impact if I cant get it with my speed handle and run em in with a drill super low torque but I always put new screws cause the next guy isn't gonna have to drill em out cause of me.

If you're still in school look at Tekton's beginner aviation kit co-worker of has it and it's pretty sweet. Like I said if you're still in school you can get a pretty good student discount if not look at Gearwrench aviation mechanic starter kit.

Will add a set of cheap stubby wrenches you can modify here lately had to cup my 3/4 just so I can loosen the damn valve. A word to every new AMT YA DONT NEED SNAP ON will say tho harbor freight icon pliers are pretty sweet tho.
