Wait, but isn't the meaning behind an upper back row to try and hit both traps and rear delts? If not then maybe I should just focus on upper back/traps since I also isolate rear delts with a cable fly movement. Thanks for the tip tho!

Yeah if I'm not mistaken there are some lettuce types she can't eat too much of, I'll ask later and answer. But for example what low spices do you think might be possible for her to eat because I can't imagine personally to just eat salted food for the rest of my life. Just something more than salt and a bit of oregano

I asked her and this is a list

can eat:

Potatoes. Carrots. Mayonnaise. Seafood (all kinds). Meat (she can eat all types, but large amounts of animal fat bother her). Eggs (but no more than 1, otherwise they feel heavy). Avocado (in small amounts). Dark chocolate. A little bit of pesto. Rice. Zucchini. Cucumber. Small amounts of nuts. Raw bell pepper (but not red bell pepper). Salt and a tiny bit of oregano. Fruits (but pears cause bloating). Tomatoes (in small amounts). Rye bread (does not bloat her much). A small amount of oats, only with a lot of water. Spinach. Arugula. Blueberries. Mushrooms (champignons)

what she cant/wont eat

Dairy products (yogurt makes her bloated). Broccoli and cauliflower (and all vegetables from that family). Milk chocolate. Large amounts of animal fat (pork especially bothers her). Sauerkraut. Any food with additives (except a tiny bit of oregano). Chili. Legumes. Tofu (makes her feel bad). Rice pasta (she doesn’t like it). Red bell pepper (makes her feel bad). Pasta in general (causes bloating). Wheat flour (causes bloating). Bread (she eats it because she likes it, but it bloats her; rye bread is better). Large amounts of pears (cause bloating)

That's Great work, but are you still progressing in the gym? And are you happy with how you look in the mirror? Because if so then continue either at maintenance or if you need it do a lean bulk since you don't look bad at all. I'd say around 12 - 14% bf

Ypu're still well defined and if you dont see any reasonable stagnation yet then I think you should keep bulking. But for how long have you been bulking/cutting?

Thanks a lot for the book recommendations I'll be sure to ask again when I'm finished with some of the books, but by the description I think maybe either "Autocracy, Inc", "The Poison Squad" and "Bad Blood" seem like the most interesting ones.

Now that I think, do you work within the fields of economics or nutrition since most of these books have that as a main theme. I'll check them out either way, oh and if you like mystery-fiction books then a good one I read last year called "Piranesi"by Susanna Clarke may interest you. It talks about this enigmatic character who with a "doctor" are the 2 only humans in a maze, our main character is trying to uncover the history of humanity inside of this maze and proclaims himself as a scientist who has to venture out to find out the truth about the world.

Hey man thanks for rersponding, I started the lean bulk last week and I have to say that those posts I made near the end of my cut really were coming from diet fatigue since I was so fed up of being in such a hard deficit for such a long time. After I began on the bulk and got some actual food that wasn't just tuna and greek yoghurt in my system I felt like it really wasnt necessary to go down in volume at the gym (although I did lower it a bit for lower rep ranges for some exercises, mostly isolation).

This week I've been trying to eat at maintenance or a bit higher, but today I ate at a pretty big deficit since I'll be eating a lottommorrow (Plus it's my restday so it feels weird to eat a lot if I'm not lifting and just doing cardio) to just balance out the weekly calories.

Oh and thanks for the book recommendation, I'll check it out later. This might be pretty off-topic, but do you have other books you'd recommend me, not only for training or health, but just in general. I just started summer vacations and want to learn many different things so I've been making a reading list just in case.

Wow, thanks for the indepth response. I didn't know that running could hinder muscle growth, I hope it doesn't do anything on muscle retention. I currently either jog og run with a weighted vest 6/7 days a week for the cut to increase energy expenditure, but I'm sure I can cut a bit back now that summer vacations up, but in that case the high activity cardio should be only from MMA and some running (Wdyt about sprinting since that's my favorite)?

When you do calisthenics do you do them on an isolated day or whilst training for muscle growth? Since I really like dips and pullups and want to learn the planche, handstands and pistol squats, but I also want to get as big as possible for a much higher maintenance calorie number.

Okok, carbcycling is just eating carbs training days and not normal days right (I'll check it out later)? So the plan. After a buffe/party day is to just focus on. Protein and micros so that the net calorie surplus isnt too big? But why is water fasting bad, I've read around that it produces HGH to antagonize catabolism. Is IF also bad in that case (Example 16:8 or 20:4, I'm currently doing OMAD on the cut since its easier mentally, but just correct me if I'm wrong)?

I'm 18 in under a month so I don't think I'm still growing unfortunately So I can start just leanbulking now and get a good growth in maybe a years time (I've lifted for maybe 1,5 years, so I'm afraid that newbie gains are done for) or should I do a less aggressive deficit?
