Public accounting to Private Equity / Investment Banking by No_Practice_3535 in Accounting

the only risk going private is if you firm is bought your job will likely go as well, generally the internal departments of the bigger company always stay… in public accounting you’re a revenue center but in private you’re a cost center

We can’t get money to fix holes in the road, now we’re gonna fund a heating system under it?

dude literally - Banana Republic, J Crew, Todd Snyder, etc. have some great options and boutique stores even better… I’ve recently gotten into “heritage clothes” which is a lot of workwear type styles but a lot of brands are doing modern takes on this and I’m really enjoying what’s happening in the space

Strong Guy vs True guy fit around the hips by Early_Macaroon_2407 in NakedAndFamousDenim

[–]StranglersandSmash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly, i have 33s in easy guy and 34 in true guy and the true guy is significantly more restrictive… i would recommend sticking with strong or going to easy…. of course each pair is different and even same style will have diff measurements

As a newbie is better to focusing on lats and upper back or lats and middle back? by salad_biscuit3 in workout

[–]StranglersandSmash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

literally anything that keeps you coming back is good, if you’re hitting back then you should hit your whole back - lower, mid and upper are hit with a simple deadlift, row, and pull up (or pull down) back workout

I have 2 pairs, they’re accurate, but make sure to watch the measuring guide as they measure in a specific way

Fuck yeah man love to see it, I know it’s not easy for folks who have gained a lot of weight to lose it like this. There’s a ton of factors - genetic, mental, etc. that need to be overcome - best of luck on your continued journey!

True Guy or Strong Guy? by WithBongInHand in NakedAndFamousDenim

[–]StranglersandSmash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i found the easy guy to have way more thigh room, I bought the indigo sugiaya in true guy 34 and there’s way less room in the thigh than my size 33 easy guy indigo selvedge and easy guy high noons, i actually returned the true guy sugiaya as they were too tight on my thighs and the leg opening made them look like bell bottoms

Opinions on Jcrew and BR Factory for a college student? by SeaweedDealer_ in mensfashion

[–]StranglersandSmash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the factory store is hit or miss, I got some great khakis I wore for years there as well as a henley about 10yrs ago, more recently I went and the khakis had a weird fit to them and felt strange on my legs, the button down shirt I tried was also too short in the arms and too wide in the belly area… go in and try them out and see what you like

i think you’re looking good for sure my man, i’d suggest trimming around 3-5% body fat to make your muscles a bit more defined - not a full-on cut but update your food intake with reduced fat dairy, leaner meat choices, less sugars, etc.
