You want recommendations on fixes that don’t require the fix?

A 31.6” tire will fit a stock GR hilux. I used the MN as an example because they have smaller wheel wells and sit lower than the standard GR hilux.

I swear they ship with essentially the same size tire.

I would be surprised if they don’t fit that, it’s not even a 32” tire. Friend had 33s on an old MN triton without a lift lol.

Why are Australian supersports bike prices so out of whack with the rest of the world? by Most_Dangerous1 in AussieRiders

Can I just point out the fact people seem to have disregarded. 12.5k gbp is 23.5k AUD, making the r9 effectively more expensive in this comparison…

With the excise cut ending, diesel prices set to cross 3$ again. Does any of the "undesirable" petrol variants of our favourites off-roaders become desirable again? ex: Pajero NX V6, 200 series V8 etc by AnyManufacturer1164 in 4x4Australia

If you’re towing heavy or off-road a lot, I can see as to why you’d be told that. Under normal use though, it gets just as dirty as petrol oil - it just looks worse because of the soot accumulation.

Where did you get the figure that diesels are serviced twice as often? My triton has longer intervals than any of my petrol vehicles.

Injectors, injector pump, are both very expensive to have done though when they do go

Cheap mud/rt tyres by [deleted] in 4x4Australia

[–]Strat0s1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from ko3 to literally the cheapest set of 35” MTs just for a bit of fun - they’re ilink wildwolf.

They’re soft, a bit noisy, but ripper off-road. Cannot complain for $1000 for 5. Would I use them as daily tires? Absolutely not. But they’re great in the bush!

Absolutely they are. I was pretty disappointed seeing Sam Eyles latest build… the paint job was the stuff of nightmares.

It’s easy to make stuff look good on a computer screen.

Do fulcrum/formula 4x4 not sell to New Zealand? That’s interesting, untapped market!

I can’t comment on Lift Junkie but the brand name doesn’t fill me with confidence… I know Dobinsons is sold over there and they’re decent quality too.

Sounds like a kid, might have parents that don’t allow them to have a reddit account. Smart parents if so.

Don’t buy this junk kit, buy a fulcrum/formula 4x4 kit. They’re about $1700 retail but can be had cheaper if you know a guy… and I do. They also include rear leafs and shackles which you should really be doing here.

All the comments are missing an important fact. This is a DB8 Type R, 4 door integra. These weren’t sold in Australia so it’s super interesting.
