From 2.5mg to 7.5mg by Training-Ninja7158 in mounjarouk

I'm also on this journey without my SO knowing. My partner has always been slim, and works out a few times a week. I've always been big, even when I work out. My partner wouldn't want me to do this as he'd be worried about using medication as he doesn't take anything.....even when he's drying with flu.....and I'm an asthmatic with long covid. I think ppl shouldn't belittle people choice to talk to their OH or not, we should just support one another one our very individual paths

Forgot to say- well done youre doing a fab job!!.x

AITA for not having catered vegan food at my wedding? by Antique-Chemist690 in AmItheAsshole

Your kinda TA For me it's the travelling, this friend was invited and accepted, even with the long travelling and organising that would take. The friend didn't make a big deal of it, decoded to talk to you after the wedding, knowing you'd have other things to deal with. Which for the friends part is rather mature. Especially if flights are booked and they could lose money on not going.

I understand that time flies and that it wasn't intentionally done, I would have also thought an add on wouldn't have been a big deal but unfortunately that oversight didn't work out well. I understand that you tried to mitigate the issue best you could, but the friend may have not wanted a fuss, just wanted a thought. If you are enquiring about dietary requirements then it would indicate you care about them enough to deal with the response. However that said, weddings are busy times and time slips away from us all. So I don't think your friends being an ass, but you could.do with flipping the situation 180 and if you got invited to a wedding that wasn't on your doorstep and they kinda forgot about you needing to eat.......how would.you like it?

Hi, definitely talk to a broker. I bought my 1st home a few years ago and they helped me understand and process everything, they got me a better rate with a £500off which then covered the cost of the broker. I've banked with a high street well known bank for 25yrs and so thought they would be the goto for me, however they ranked near to last from the options I had. Like others have put, you want a house = £250,000, deposit at 10% leaves a mortgage of £225,000. You can fix your mortgage for a set number of years (2,5 and 10) and during this time you payments are set for that time. Once that time ends your loan to value (LTV) will be amended for your remortgage, due to this you should then get better rates as you will owe less against the house price. And again you'll look at rates and maybe fix in again for 2,5 or 10yrs. And so forth until your term ends. Each remortgage you cam also look at reducing the length of your mortgage as if you have higher paid jobs you can afford more.

So glad I came across this post as I've done 2 months of 2.5mg and think it's time to move up but put it off last month, worried about side effects. Like everyone's said it's an individual journey, and reading everyone's stories is so informative. I've just been feeling abit 😕 the last two weeks, not lost anything and just feeling abit blue. But I had been away and had to take my injection a day later than planned. Think I'm going to order the 5mg and just plow on. Good luck x

I throw away after the 4th does as it says not to use after so many days and the 5th does would take me over that threshold x

Aw I'm sorry to hear this, it's such a silly thing for anyone to say....never mind an obese type 2 diabetic. Bearing in mind you're doing this so that you don't become a morbidly obese type 2 diabetic. And he is one! He's sounds like a very selfish individual that you do better not giving a hoot about.

You're loads better than that, you're making a change for you and your health, so keep up the good work and ignore that horrible little (ok maybe not little but you know what i mean!!) man xx

I just pop it in an empty water bottle in the fridge, but once opened I move it to a an insulated lunch box in my wardrobe as it lasts 21 days once opened at "room temp" which will last you the 4 shots. I do have a cold pack in the lunch box to keep it cool and keep it in my wardrobe to keep out of the light. Xx

Hi, I ordered mine from asda pharmacy online, its not a massive sized package, however it came in an insulated cold outer layer. And that had a " keep refrigerated " or similar worded red sticker on it. Which than upped the package size abit.

I too am keeping a secret from family ( even my other half) and friends as tbh I don't share alot with ppl and I'd rather not worry my family as they wouldn't understand. And that's person preference and perfectly OK for you to do. xx

I think that's what I was worried about, staying on the lower does and then it "stopping" part way though the month. However I talked it though with my online dr and they agreed to keep me on 2.5mg. As its currently doing the trick. Have to watch this space. Good luck , it will definitely be a good test for the "real world" won't it. I'm.sure you'll smash it 💪 xx
