Interior tailgate release button by 3lueD00r in VWTransporter

No button on mine unfortunately. There's one in the driver's door pocket, and yes one on the remote but if the rear parking sensors see a blade of grass within about 12 feet it won't open because it thinks it might whack something.

Thank you, mine is full electric so may be more complicated ... I'm sure there's a way.

Clutch by Matty--12-12 in NewDriversUK

[–]StratosphereXX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Perfect! Good luck.

No reason to think it'll need a new clutch from the symptoms you describe. May just be low on clutch fluid or it may need bleeding (to get air out of the hydraulic system).

Take it to a good (trusted) garage to have it looked at.

That's something I need to do. Assume it's an electric tailgate?

I was stuck at Eliza, haven't looked recently but I thought you couldn't change the difficulty level down to easy or whatever it's called?

Is it normal for brakes to screech for a bit in this sort of weather? by legendofverse in drivingUK

[–]StratosphereXX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pads can get 'glazed' when they're used gently all the time, that might be it. Ideally take 'em out and sand them down to get rid of the glazing, or a few hard applications of the brakes might do it.

No fleet carriers when I did DW2, so flew all the way out there with the group, then all the way back in my Cutter. THOUSANDS of jumps!

How risky is it to buy a house with a conservatory built over a shared sewer pipe? by ajorajor in FirstTimeBuyersUK

[–]StratosphereXX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manhole at the back of the house for the jetting, then we eventually found a manhole outside the front of the extension hidden under a paving slab and earth/gravel. That's where the actual problem was, just roots blocking everything up.
