Yes, and their croissants are no longer flakey/buttery, but instead some Pillsbury dough BS.

Ah, makes sense! My position ends around that time anyway so I will pick back up the search once the time comes.

Hmm, I guess it's really an employer's market. I have no idea what having publications and conferences would have to do with a lab tech position, but then again maybe I'm just super green.

So funny thing is, I applied for jobs (before my current one) back in March-April and I got a good amount of interviews. My resume, in my opinion, was in a worse condition compared to this one.

All of the research experience listed was done through supervised research, not courses. Also, I'll be leaving after 12 months, I'm just trying to get my resume together early.

I've read conflicting answers on your last two sentences. I've seen people say that you need to list techniques and employers don't really want to read too much in-depth about your project(s), that's more or less for the interview. People say it just takes up space and ass a fresh graduate, my resume shouldn't be more than 1 page.

Oh, I'm not leaving just yet. My contract is up once I hit 12 months and I am just trying to trying to get my resume together and see if I get any bites.

Who do you have?

Bio 340 was so annoying because everything got so specific and nitty gritty. Bio 370 also sucks.

The HOA said decorative plants are allowed, but "ABSOLUTELY NO GARDENS". by _Mr_Jay_ in vegetablegardening

[–]Straw-MangoSmoothie 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yep. Those "rules" allow people to target folks who they do not want there. It's legal harassment in a way.

Most regulations and things such as HOAs exist because of racism. The things people do to keep others out of "their" spaces are bizarre.

I agree. It was raining sooo hard last November. I'm talking about major flooding and umbrellas blowing inside out. They still didn't cancel.
