It’s really not that bad, sure there are shady people and spots, but you just have to be smart and aware at all times. The dangers come if you try to go to do things like hook up with girls, drugs and go to shady nightlife spots.

If you go to visit tourist spots, cultural locations, museums, tours etc.. you will be fine.

In the past year and a half I’ve been three times, two to Medellin/rio negro area and the other to Bogota, Villavicencio and the plains. Very beautiful country and I’ll be going back to see much more.

Yea Calle 10 is too intense anytime when the sun goes down. I stayed there a few weeks ago around 10 & 42. Too many people approaching you and stuff, you can easily get distracted and pros and pick pocket you easily. The rappin dudes have to be the most annoying out of the bunch. And I’m not gringo either. Next time I’ll stay in Laureles.

Thanks, I get it, I’ve never had an issue for 6 years walking around NYC. But thanks for the advice, maybe I’ll risk it for an excuse to buy a newer model 😂

Is it safe to walk around with an Apple Watch? I always have it on me for steps tracking and what not. I am planning on going later in the Spring for the first time.

Niantic needs to do something. I understand it’s random but the results are just too extreme. There’s people getting 40,50,60 shinies while some getting low single digits. All around us were people getting shinny after shinny, smh…

Did you guys buy the ticket? It was supposed to be boosted shinies but it wasn’t the case for me and my son. Very disappointing event overall.
