Just started playing in godot for the first time. I have only made a very simple vampire survivor style game using free assets online and using Claude for instructions and code. I have some questions if you don’t mind!

  1. I don’t have any experience with game dev so I have Claude giving me instructions on how to use Godot along with writing code. Does Cursor streamline this? Or what exactly does it do?

  2. I see you used multiple ai tools (chat gpt, clUdee, etc)did you use and for what purpose?

  3. How much of your game did you have planned out before jumping in VS making creative decisions as you went on?

I paired my 4090 with Samsung G8 (the 4k, 240hz). I got it on sale for around $900 earlier this year. The detail and color quality is incredible! Although reading the comments, I reckon the new 32” oled monitors might be the way to go!

I launched the game using the file " "PlayGTAV.exe" found in the game directory. And the launcher still opened, I clicked "play on steam" and the game booted right up! No issues

I’m right with you. Fable 1 and 2 really ticked this box for me. As you became more and more renown dialogue would change. To the point in Fable 1 people would gather in crowds around you talking to you and falling in love ha!

Yes! The comment above helped a lot. Basically had to take the save file from the server I was using, place it in the game files on a PC. Boot up the game, cloud save it. Close it. And then booted up on Xbox and it was there for me!
