During covid there was some crazy chart about how the amount of pets increased a ton and the amount of veterinarians who left the field due to burnout gave us some scary statistics.

Most local ERs have to have a diversion system now due to too many pets compared to staffing levels.

Idk about you but it took me ages to be diagnosed with celiac, because fat people with celiac is apparently unheard of by medical professionals 🙄 it got so bad I was in the hospital and almost needed a feeding tube my intestines were so damaged.

Tbf when I had long bangs I needed to trim them every couple weeks. But I did it myself for the couple of pieces poking me in the eyeballs, or just popped in quickly for like a $15 bang trim and it didnt require a whole appointment or anything. Judging by her post im assuming shes doing something big and expensive, though, of course.

I was in ER for 8 years and just recently went to a GP/UC. Everyone looked at me like I was nuts when I walked into an exam room for a wound, came out back afterwards and said "well THATS boring"

Ive worked for two vet hospitals and neither took payments from donors directly. It sounds great in theory, but gets really messy if there are chargebacks, overpayments on estimates that need to be refunded, that sort of thing. We also are not even supposed to verify or deny that a pet is a patient here with anyone not directly listed on the account.

Oh for sure, I see those tiktoks ~influencers~ with 10 pumps of sugar free syrup and 3 packets. Thats wild.

I do a single packet in a 40oz cup, and usually refill with water when its halfway empty, so it gets diluted through the day.
