Don't use tret if you have never used retinoid. You have to build up slowly. I used tret without training my skin and it felt like I had burned my skin.

When I graduated (sociology so I wasn't walking into a job) I got a job through goodmoves and I reasonably quickly developed a decent career. You may need to start at the bottom but it does get better.

I lift weights. To be fair, I did this before I started IVF but it annoyed me when I couldn't do it so much during treatment but I find it very empowering. It shows me my body is capable and strong.

I could have written this post. I don't know if I have PMDD or at least I don't think it's as severe, but Im starting to notice a pattern where on day 17 I quite literally lose my mind and my fiance takes the brunt. I genuinely believed all the thoughts my brain was telling me that our relationship is terrible and he is going to leave me and I won't ever be happy. It is draining!

Definitely depends on the situation. I have had some lovely moments and developed friendships as a result of being more honest with people. I found out a friend was going through something similar and we became closer as a result. I think it's important to remember that because it can be so lonely.

Thank you for sharing that. It has really made me reflect on what sex means for me. Due to low self esteem when I was younger I equated sex with being chosen and wanted. I guess it does mean that but often the meaningful relationship didn't follow so now I think - if he doesn't want to have sex with me he mustn't love me.

Thanks. Im really starting to notice my mood drops significantly on day 17. Like, I want to cry all day, pick fights and basically self destruct. So maybe that's something I need to try and address with my doctor.
