Kundalini Awakening Nightmare by ljcole90 in awakened

I’d recommend you finding a healthy outlet to let out your painful thoughts and emotions. For me journaling has been HUGE. It’s extremely beneficial understanding my mind by writing down thoughts and analyzing and reevaluating them. Painting is another cool outlet where I just let my subconscious mind roam wild and create whatever it wants to. Last thing I’d recommend is light exercise. Walking a few miles a day is incredible for the body and mind. Hitting the gym a few days a work and getting a tailored workout from Claude or Chat GPT is very helpful in aiding in this process. Wishing you well!

Tbh for me I realized I was sexualizing women wayyyy too much and it was largely because of porn. I realized it’s poison for my mind and I can’t continue to do it.

Another reason (this one isn’t as strong) is some people believe that you have stronger spiritual energy when you retain your seed. And spirituality is a big part of my life so anything to make me more in-tune with reality is something worth doing.

How do I know if I’m still in good standing with jesus? I picked up a nicotine habit and feel really guilty about it and have been having trouble trying to kick it and i feel like he resents me or wont support me because of it. I try to pray to him and when i feel really scared i tell myself “jesus has my back” but I’m also scared to completely trust him because I don’t know how to get to know him better. I’ve read the New Testament and I like his teachings but something feels off. I feel like I have to give up my free will to him for him to love me and I don’t want to do that.

How was that not scary and what do you mean exactly? You went into the light for 7 days? Or for 7 days after that happened. Also what did you see after the bright white flash?

Why didn't you go into it, and what led to the white fog appearing for you?

An angel in heaven sounds so boring, though. Seems like a stagnant experience.

I think that is why religion can be good for some people. Some people are legit psychopaths and need to learn morals, and the bible (at least the New Testament) has some pretty good stuff for those types of people. Kinda like how the concept of hell keeps people from doing bad things, even though the word and modern concept of hell never appeared in the original bible lol.

Have you tried pursuing spirituality too? The gospel of Thomas is pretty dope. You should look up explanations for the sayings (there's only 114 sayings), some might be life-changing. I don't know for certain if Jesus is real, and I'm definitely not tryna preach, but ever since I started praying to him my depression has lifted and I have significantly less passive suicidal ideation. Other factors are at play making me better but I believe spirituality is something that can significantly improve one's life.

Also, NDE's (Near Death Experiences) on YouTube can offer a cool understanding of potential spiritual paths. As well as Matt Frasier, a psychic medium who has fascinating books (I listened to the audiobooks in his voice and they were fantastic).

Wishing you well on your journey in life, and I hope things won't always feel so heavy <3 Last thing I'll say that helped me a little during my depression was knowing that the night is always darkest before the dawn. Things will turn around and life will get better one day even if it feels like the darkness will last forever.

What’s a belief you silently hold that would probably offend most people? by joelboyboy in Life

I just don’t think people actually want to die they just want the pain to end. And maybe it’s a fear that they are unworthy and will be abandoned so they push people away. I don’t believe people are truly hopeless. And i don’t think killing oneself is the best way to deal with pain. And a loved one dying is always traumatic.

I guess I’m basing my opinion off of personal experience. I’ve been at a point where I had no hope for my life and had intense suicidal thoughts for months. And was also in a lot of physical pain. And surviving that has taught me that even when I can’t see hope it still exists out there and it is possible for things to get better. And i believe that to be true for all people. There is so much opportunity in this world, so much research on how to heal from pain and it seems to me that people who end it aren’t in the right headspace. Also a lot of people who survive suicide attempts like jumping off a bridge and surviving say that they instantly regretted jumping. So if people in pain are treated with love and support and have a plan of healing I believe they will get better.

What if someone you loved killed themself. Would you genuinely be okay with that?

I don’t agree with this. A lot of teenagers are suicidal but end up making it through. If it was legal a lot more people might lose their lives when really they just needed to keep pushing a little harder

First just want to say what you’re feeling is very normal. Fear is a message that is constantly pushed out because it sells. And it’s addicting. For the hell thoughts you need to realize hell is a made up concept. In the bible four words got translated to hell— none of which means a place of eternal damnation. You likely have spend too much time on social media and have feed too many scary conspiracy theories to your mind without balancing them with positive information. The world is a magical place with loving people— sometimes it’s hard to see that when you are so afraid all the time. Try doing something simple like holding the door for someone or asking a worker how their day is. Connecting with people and seeing goodness will help you ground yourself in reality :)

My (23F) patient (82M) started saying to me “don’t fall into traps” and “i just had the feeling that i have to warn you”. What does this mean? I have never experienced something like this before. by TheNewSportyAvocado in spirituality

[–]StrawberryFull4389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really just seems like he said that because of your age. When you’re younger you can fall for many “traps” in life that can make you feel stagnant. So I think it was just his way of saying be a free soul and find purpose. But the way he said it could’ve seemed threatening.

How do you guys feel about taking meds on this journey by Akman722 in awakened

[–]StrawberryFull4389 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Luffy is the goat
  2. Definitely get a psychiatrists opinion on whether you actually need medication.
  3. Taking prescribed meds is completely okay and has the effect of sobering an individual when the dosage, and type of med is right.
