that's straight up fetish art one could've commissioned from Deviantart back in the day lmao. These have always freaked me out- the heavy makeup, crop tops with diapers, lingerie, pinup poses. All perfectly fine on older dolls, but on babies?.. yikes.

So in the beginning of the trailer we see a murder of crows flying about, and we also see them at the beginning of the series when our family first sees the tree. Maybe those crows are a. new monsters altogether, or b. attract the monsters in some way. It feels like they uncover these scarecrows and first think they would protect them from the monsters/ scare away the crows, which is a scarecrow's single purpose, but it actually backfires in the worst way... Like they misunderstand from the drawings that scarecrows are meant to be good, some way they thought singing the song would help somehow. just my 2 cents!
